The Architecture and Design Museum’s current exhibit, running through Sept. 4, is “Rethink LA: Perspectives on a Future City.” The show at the Wilshire Boulevard museum looks at the city 55 years after the Federal Highway Act was instituted and 50 years after the Pacific Electric Railway was dismantled.
With those major changes to how people live, work, play and travel in the city, what happens next? Will the city stay on its current path or make a way for a more sustainable future? That is what the exhibit examines.
